Copilot training for companies

A Copilot course that starts from your real work

Many organisations have Microsoft 365 Copilot licences but see little difference in daily work. GAIN at work wants to change that. On this page you read who is behind the courses, why the approach is different and how a session works.

Who is Anthony Pattijn?

Anthony Pattijn is the founder of GAIN at work and teaches every course himself. He has more than 15 years of experience in product management, where he learned how to turn new technology into something people actually use.

He has also spent almost 20 years in front of groups as a trainer and speaker. He has delivered training inside different companies and has been a guest speaker at events and organisations. He knows how to bring a group along, even when not everyone walks in enthusiastic.

To deepen his AI knowledge he completed an AI programme at Vlerick Business School. More importantly, he uses Microsoft Copilot himself every day. What he shares in a course, he has tested in his own work first.

Why GAIN at work differs from most AI courses

Many AI courses mainly show everything AI can do. Impressive demos, a list of tools and some visions of the future. Then everyone goes back to their desk and little changes. GAIN at work deliberately takes another route.

  • Usable from the next day. Everything covered can be applied straight away to your own tasks.
  • Tailored to your company. The exercises start from a recognisable case from your work environment, not from made-up examples.
  • No generic AI hocus-pocus. No promises about what AI might one day do, but an honest view of where it helps and where you need to stay alert.
  • Fully focused on Microsoft Copilot. Copilot works inside your organisation's secure Microsoft 365 environment. It can reach your own emails, documents, calendar and Teams conversations directly, without dragging files into a chat window or copying sensitive information into an external tool.

Built out of frustration

GAIN at work grew out of a personal frustration. Anthony attended several AI courses in Belgium. They were often interesting, but rarely usable. Lots of theory, lots of generic examples and little that matched how work really happens in an office.

Each time he left with the same question: what do I actually do with this tomorrow? GAIN at work grew from that question. A course he would have wanted to attend himself: practical, honest and focused on the tools your organisation already has.

How does a GAIN at work course work?

A course takes three hours, in a group of up to 12 participants. Everyone works on their own laptop, in their own Copilot environment. So you do not watch a screen at the front, you do it yourself.

You start with something most users skip, which changes how Copilot responds from then on. Then you follow one continuous practical case through Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. Along the way you discover why some Copilot answers sound convincing but are still wrong, and how to spot that quickly.

At the end you do not have a folder full of theory, but a way of working you will use again the next morning.
